About me

Hello! My name is Cathryn Joly-Terriah and I am currently in my second year at LaSalle College, studying in Fashion Marketing. When I graduate in the year 2020, I am thinking of applying in Business Law at McGill University because I have always wanted to study business and well law has recently interested me.

I recently did my fourth humanitarian trip to Pucallpa, Peru at the beginning of the month of March 2019, where I had the chance to meet two beautiful children and decided to sponsor them to give them the opportunity to go to school and get an education! In the years to come, I am thinking of adopting two dogs from this poor, yet beautiful country to give them a chance at life, hopefully my dream will eventually come true.

The reason behind my title; ”An Innocent Fashion” it is kind of a play of words because we all think that fashion is just like all the other industries in the world, innocent, but in fact, it isn’t. If you have the chance to read my first blog, I talk about how the fashion industry is the second most polluting industry in the world. I also took the inspiration and title from the novel written by R.J Hernàdez, which was quite interesting, but not my favorite!

Do not hesitate to look over my different blog posts and to let me know what you think! I will be posting every week with topics related to the fashion industry.
